"Heart to Heart with Harm Reduction"
Storytelling products for the Sharing Harm Reduction Practices Network (SHARP) at the Injury Prevention Research Center (IPRC)
The SHARP Network, a peer learning network project funded by the CDC's Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) initiative, needed tools to connect its members through events, resource sharing, and storytelling content.
Harm reduction practitioners do challenging, often deeply personal work, and can use all the resources, advice, and connection they can get in order to support people who use drugs, and help save lives.
We partnered to create a website to centralize the SHARP Network's harm reduction resources, directory, and announcements and events. We also created and produced a podcast, “Heart to Heart with Harm Reduction” to bring seasoned harm reduction practitioners together in conversation. The goal was to reach a broad audience, extending from harm reduction practitioners to general community members.
