HEALTH BEHAVIOR CHANGE
at the intersection of art and science

Founders Kathryn Carpenter and Emily Newman work together at a table in an open work space.

OUR AGENCY

Newman Carpenter designs creative health behavior change materials. We produce evidence-based,

community-engaged behavior change strategy, and communication materials including video, audio, digital, and print material. Founded in 2019 by two public health practitioners who bring prior career expertise in education, TV production, design, and linguistics, Newman Carpenter envisions a better way of communicating health information to improve health equity by helping people access and use information and resources to live healthier lives.

Newman Carpenter recognizes racism and other forms of discrimination as public health problems that affect all levels of health and systems. We recognize and hope to help reduce health disparities caused by racism and related factors.

We are committed to furthering racial and health equity in all aspects of our business, client work, community, and personal lives.
